Program Evaluation
Educational programs often benefit from objective evaluation to identify and build on strengths as well as to delineate areas in need of improvement. Ready 2 Learn offers program evaluations, working from a "best practices" framework for specific student populations. The culmination is a written report that identifies strengths and recommendations for improvements. The evaluation is done in collaboration with the program's team of professionals.
A typical program evaluation will include:
Assessment
- Interviews to identify areas of strength as well as any concerns
- Collaboration with school administration
- Observations of the learning environment
- Review of salient records as needed
Education
- Discussion of quality program indicators with teaching staff and school personnel
Planning
- Targeting of specific program needs building on strengths and tailored to specific student populations
Intervention
- Consultation with program staff
- Direct support for the classroom
